Abstract

Dairi's economy based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in 2023 at current prices reached IDR 11,651.15 billion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 7,270.26 billion.

Dairi's economy in 2023 will grow by 5.04 percent, higher than the achievement in 2022 which will grow by 4.21 percent.

In terms of production, the three business fields that experienced the highest growth respectively occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing Business Field at 9.91 percent, the Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision Business Field at 8.4 percent, and the Education Services Business Field at 6.47 percent .

Three business fields that play a dominant role in Dairi Regency's GRDP according to business fields in 2023 are Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields at 44.30 percent, Wholesale and Retail Trade Business Fields; Car and Motorcycle Repairs amounted to 17.76 percent, and Construction Business Fields amounted to 12.92 percent.

In terms of expenditure, the three expenditure components that experienced the highest growth respectively occurred in the Consumption Expenditure Component of Nonprofit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) at 5.37 percent, the Household Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) at 3.55 percent, and the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) was 2.57 percent.

The three expenditure components that make the largest contribution to Dairi Regency's GRDP according to expenditure in 2023 are the Household Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) at 57.04 percent, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component (PMTB) at 25.99 percent, and the Expenditure Component Government Consumption (PK-P) is 10.60 percent.
