Abstract

In 2020 there were 8.04 percent of the poor (residents with per capita expenditure per month below the poverty line) in Dairi Regency. This percentage has increased when compared to the percentage of poor people in 2019 which reached 7.70 percent.

The poverty line in Kabupaten Dairi has increased from Rp. 341,511, - per capita per month in 2019 to IDR 380,275 per capita per month in 2020.

The average expenditure gap of each poor person against the poverty line (P1) in Dairi Regency has increased from 0.96 in 2019 to 1.09 in 2020.

Judging from the distribution of expenditure among the poor, expenditure inequality among the poor (P2) in Dairi District has decreased from 0.22 in 2019 to 0.20 in 2020. It can be said that the inequality of expenditure among the poor in Dairi Regency in 2020 tends to decline when compared to 2019.
