Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Dairi Regency in March 2022 was 7.88 percent, a decrease of 0.43 percent compared to the percentage of poor people in March 2021 of 8.31 percent.

In March 2022, the total poverty line for Dairi Regency was IDR 436,713 per capita per month, up 6.8 percent from March 2021 where in March 2021 the poverty line for Dairi Regency was IDR 408,893 per capita per month,

In March 2022, the Poverty Depth Index (P1) showed a decrease of 0.59 points. P1 fell from 0.65 in March 2022 to 1.24 in March 2021. This indicates that the average spending gap of the poor towards the poverty line is narrowing.

The Poverty Severity Index (P2) also showed a decrease of 0.20 points from 0.28 in March 2021 to 0.08 in March 2022. The expenditure gap among the poor in Dairi Regency has narrowed.
