Dairi Regency Poor Population in 2019 is 7.70 percent (21.86 thousand inhabitants)

In 2019 there were 7.70 percent of the poor population (residents with per capita expenditure per month below the poverty line) in Dairi District. This percentage has decreased when compared with the percentage of poor people in 2018 which reached 8.20 percent.

 

The poverty line in Dairi Regency increased from Rp. 325,176 per capita per month in 2018 to Rp.341,511 per capita per month in 2019.

 

The average expenditure gap of each poor population against the poverty line (P1) in Dairi District has decreased from 1.77 in 2018 to 0.96 in 2019. This indicates that the average expenditure of the poor tends to get closer to the line poverty in 2019 when compared to 2018.

 

Judging from the distribution of expenditure among the poor, the disparity in expenditure among the poor (P2) in Dairi Regency has also decreased from 0.54 in 2018 to 0.22 in 2019. It can be said that the disparity in expenditure among the poor in Dairi Regency in 2019 tends to decrease when compared to 2018.
