FGD on Public Service Standards: BPS Dairi’s Commitment to Excellent Service

On April 28, 2025, BPS Kabupaten Dairi held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to discuss the Public Service Standards for the Integrated Statistical Services Unit (PST) of BPS Dairi. The event was attended by various stakeholders, including Bappeda Dairi, the Department of Communication and Information, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Population and Civil Registration, academic representatives from STTOI Dairi, student data users, NGOs, and members of the media.

The FGD was officially opened with remarks from the Head of BPS Dairi, Joel Roy Perangin-angin, who emphasized the importance of improving the quality of public services as a manifestation of BPS’s commitment to supporting regional development through accurate and reliable data.

The main agenda of the FGD was a panel discussion evaluating the Public Service Standards within the PST Unit, focusing on three key services: Statistical Consultation Services, Library Services, and Statistical Recommendation Services. The discussion was led by resource persons from the civil servants of BPS Dairi.

Through this FGD, BPS Dairi continues to strive for better and higher-quality services, strengthen collaboration with various stakeholders, and ensure that statistical services become more accessible, responsive, and beneficial to the wider community.
