Strengthening Financial Governance: BPS Dairi Visits KPPN Sidikalang for Consultation

On March 11, 2025, the Head of BPS Dairi, Joel Roy Perangin-angin, along with the Financial Management Team, visited the KPPN Sidikalang Office for a consultation regarding the criteria for performance awards. The BPS Dairi team was warmly welcomed at the Treasury Service Office (KPPN) Sidikalang Hall by the staff, including the Head of KPPN Sidikalang, Gery Tambunan.

The Head of BPS Dairi stated that the purpose of this visit was to gain a better understanding of APBN (State Budget) governance within work units according to established standards. KPPN Sidikalang serves as a role model for benchmarking, particularly in the context of WBK (Corruption-Free Zone). One of the key aspects they aimed to learn was budget efficiency without compromising output, including the excellent service standards implemented by KPPN, which could be applied at BPS Dairi.

This consultation was conducted in a One-on-One Meeting format, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie. Through in-depth discussions, the BPS Dairi team hoped to gain a clearer understanding of the evaluation criteria and strategic steps needed to enhance financial performance in the first semester of 2025.

Each year, KPPN Sidikalang presents awards in various categories to its partner institutions. This meeting reinforced BPS Dairi’s commitment to continuously improving financial governance quality to achieve optimal results.
