ROBUSTA Series 2 and 3: BPS Dairi Enhances Statistical Literacy of Local Government Agencies

The Sectoral Statistics Development Roadshow (ROBUSTA) continues to roll on in Dairi Regency from March through April 24, 2025! Five Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) teams from BPS Dairi are actively visiting various Local Government Agencies (OPD) as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing regional statistical literacy.

Following the data inventory and needs assessment conducted in February, as well as Series 1 training which focused on identifying statistical activities and introducing the One Data Indonesia initiative, the development journey now moves forward to Series 2 and 3. In Series 2, OPDs were given in-depth understanding of statistical business processes using the GSBPM framework, the importance of data quality through Quality Gates, and were introduced to statistical recommendations via a live demonstration of BPS’s ROMANTIK application.

Meanwhile, Series 3 focused on socializing the role of OPDs within the National Statistical System, highlighting their dual function as both data producers and supporting data custodians. This session also covered the structure of statistical institutions in Indonesia to strengthen the sectoral statistics framework.

Through this ROBUSTA program, BPS Dairi hopes to continue raising statistical literacy among local government institutions—because good governance begins with reliable data and quality statistics.
