BPS Dairi Participates in the Public Communication Forum for the Drafting of the Dairi Regency RPJMD

Sidikalang, April 14, 2025 — The Government of Dairi Regency held a Public Communication Forum (FKP) as part of the preparation process for the Preliminary Draft of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of Dairi Regency. The event took place in the Meeting Hall of the BAPPEDA Office. This forum served as a crucial platform to align perceptions and foster synergy among stakeholders in shaping the direction of Dairi’s development over the next five years.

The event was attended by key stakeholders, including Deputy Regent of Dairi, Wahyu Daniel Sagala, heads of regional agencies, leaders of vertical institutions—including the Head of BPS Dairi Regency, Joel Roy Perangin-angin—members of the Dairi Regency DPRD, and community leaders. In his opening remarks, the Deputy Regent emphasized that the RPJMD must truly reflect the vision and mission of the regional head while responding to public needs through data-driven and measurable planning.

The forum featured presentations from various speakers. The Environmental Office presented the results of a strategic environmental assessment as a key reference for sustainable development. This was followed by the Head of BAPPEDA, who outlined the main points of the initial RPJMD draft. Bapelitbang of North Sumatra then presented the province's flagship programs, which are expected to align with and support Dairi Regency’s development priorities.

The participation of BPS Dairi in this forum demonstrates BPS's strong commitment to providing accurate and relevant statistical data to support the development planning process.
