COORDINATION FOR SECTORAL STATISTICS DEVELOPMENT 2025

On February 12, 2025, BPS Dairi held a coordination meeting on Sectoral Statistics Development with several Regional Government Organizations (OPD) in Dairi Regency. This year, two key OPDs were the main focus of the statistical development program: the Department of Population and Civil Registration and the Department of Transportation (DISHUB). The coordination began with a meeting at the Department of Communication and Informatics (DISKOMINFO), which also serves as Walidata, at the BPS Dairi office. It was followed by discussions with DISHUB and DISDUKCAPIL, and concluded with a discussion on the implementation of the Desa Cinta Statistik (Village of Love for Statistics) program with the Department of Community and Village Empowerment.

This event was led directly by Head of BPS Dairi, Joel Roy Perangin-angin, accompanied by the Sectoral Statistics Development Team, Walidata, and relevant OPDs. During the coordination, he expressed his hope that this meeting would further strengthen BPS Dairi’s role as a sectoral statistics development institution, enhance human resource capacity in the field of statistics within government agencies, and foster greater collaboration and harmonization among OPDs to achieve Satu Data Indonesia (One Data Indonesia). With stronger synergy, data management in Dairi Regency is expected to become more accurate, integrated, and beneficial for regional development. 💙📊
