BPS Dairi Continues Statistical Village Development Program (Desa Cantik) in Bangun I Village

Wednesday, October 9, 2024 – The Village Statistics Guidance Team from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Dairi Regency continued their mentorship program in Bangun I Village, Parbuluan District. This session focused on evaluating the achievements made over the past few weeks, as well as completing the statistical metadata that had been collected. In addition, the team finalized several infographics and publications that will be used to facilitate the communication of statistical information within the village.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the Village Statistical Agents in recognition of their contributions during the program. These agents have worked diligently over the past few weeks to complete their tasks.

Sangaptua Deo Datus Sagala, Head of the BPS Dairi Village Statistics Guidance Program, noted that today marked the final day of the mentorship program, which had been ongoing for approximately five weeks. He expressed his pride in the Village Statistical Agents, who successfully completed each phase of the training.

Sangap also emphasized the importance of maintaining good communication between Bangun I Village and BPS Dairi, even though the formal mentorship had ended. He affirmed BPS's readiness to continue supporting the village in independently managing its statistical activities. "We encourage the Village Statistical Agents to reach out if there is anything unclear regarding statistical activities," he stated.

With the conclusion of this mentorship program, BPS Dairi hopes that Bangun I Village will continue to progress and be able to produce high-quality statistical data independently, contributing to sustainable village development.
