Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in August 2022 reached 10,287 visits, while in July 2022 there were 7,518 foreign tourists who came to visit in Sumatera Utara.
In the August 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 257,075.00 percent compared to the same period in 2021, from 4 visits in August 2021 to 10,287 visits in August 2022.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in August 2022 averaged 43.24 percent, or decreased by 5.50 points compared to July 2022 of 48.74 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels is 1.43 days during August 2022, an increase of 0.10 points compared to July 2022.
The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during August 2022 was 194,160 people, down 25.99 percent compared to July 2022 which was recorded at 262,339 people.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers (domestic) departing during August 2022 was recorded at 11,194 people, an increase of 0.20 percent compared to the previous month of 11,172 people.
