Abstract

  • The value of exports through loading ports in Sumatera Utara in July 2022 decreased compared to June 2022, from US$1.26 billion to US$1.25 billion, down by 1.03 percent. When compared to July 2021, Sumatera Utara's exports increased by 19.70 percent
  • The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in Sumatera Utara's export value in July 2022 to June 2022 was animal/vegetable fats and oils of US$ 25.97 million (4.54%).
  • Exports to China in July 2022 were the largest at US$242.21 million, followed by the United States at US$164.12 million and India at US$72.24 million with the contribution of the three reaching 38.27 percent.
  • According to the main group of export destinations in July 2022, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US$510.61 million (40.83%)
