Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in September 2020 increased compared to August 2020, namely from US $ 683.15 million to US $ 762.58 million or an increase of 11.63 percent. When compared to September 2019, North Sumatra's exports increased by 10.19 percent

The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in September 2020 against August 2020 was the animal / vegetable fat and oil group of US $ 64.09 million (23.18%).

Exports to China in September 2020 were the largest at US $ 140.46 million, followed by the United States at US $ 83.22 million and India at US $ 62.82 million with the three contributions reaching 37.57 percent.

According to the main group of export destination countries in September 2020, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 295.14 (38.70%)
