Sumatera Utara Exports in August 2018 amounting to US $ 758.76 million

· Export value through loading ports in North Sumatra in August 2018 has decreased compared to July 2018, ie from US $ 773.44 million to US $ 758.76 million or down by 1.90 percent. When compared with August 2017, North Sumatra's exports decreased by 15.30 percent.

 · The largest decline in the value of North Sumatra's exports in August 2018 to July 2018 occurred in rubber and rubber goods (HS 40) of US $ 13.94 million (-12.70%) followed by timber, wood goods (HS 44) in the amount of US $ 4.42 million (-17.39%), tobacco (HS 24) of US $ 4.26 million (15.83%).

 · Exports to China in August 2018 were the largest at US $ 97.98 million, followed by the United States of US $ 87.53 million, and India at US $ 59.14 million with the contribution of the three reaching 32.24 percent.

 · According to the group of export destination countries in August 2018, exports to Asia (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 257.06 million (33.88 percent).
