Kartini Day Morning Assembly

On April 21, 2025, BPS Dairi held a special Morning Assembly to commemorate Kartini Day at the BPS Dairi office courtyard. This assembly was unique, as all the officers — from the inspector to the assembly leader — were female employees of BPS Dairi. This moment served as a real symbol of the growing strength and active role of women across various sectors of life.

The message during the Morning Assembly was delivered by Ribka Anggina Tarigan as the Assembly Inspector, conveying the remarks of the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia, Arifah Fauzi. The Minister's message called upon everyone to remember and honor the struggle of Raden Ajeng Kartini, who stands as a symbol of courage in fighting for women's rights and education. Although more than a century has passed, Kartini’s spirit remains alive and relevant, especially in facing today’s challenges for gender equality.

The Minister also emphasized the importance of continuing Kartini's struggle through real actions, such as expanding women's participation, rejecting all forms of discrimination, and consistently supporting women's empowerment in all sectors. Kartini Day should not merely be a ceremonial occasion but a powerful momentum to ignite a collective sense of responsibility towards realizing empowered Indonesian women, as part of the grand vision for Golden Indonesia 2045.
